I have a tire n rim on its way but I also need a short Ratchet Tie down for my enclosed. I only have two feet from the tie down to the a arms on my race car

Hello Warren, thanks for reaching out. For that, the CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Ratchet Straps w/ S-Hooks # IMF18800-86. These are very solid straps that can be used for virtually any tie-down application since it has a s-hook on each end. They have a 1,167 lbs working load limit per strap.

You may want to use a protector sleeve like part # EM06305-2 if you need something to go between the strap and your race car to prevent any scratches.

Hey Warren, did the CargoBuckle G3 Ratchet Straps work well for securing your race car? I'm curious to know if the protector sleeve helped prevent any scratches, as it could give others confidence when ordering replacements.

@JesseM Never bought them because the race car is 2700 lbs so I would need something stronger

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
