Hey Terry! Do the leaf springs run under the axle on your Zieman F-714? Looking at pictures I believe they do but I'm not 100% sure. Assuming they do, you can use an axle flip kit to raise the height of your trailer. This will move the leaf springs to the top of the axle (overslung configuration).

The correct kit depends on the diameter of your axle. If you have a 2-3/8" diameter axle you need the # K71-384-00 and for a 3" diameter axle # K71-385-00. This will raise your trailer by the diameter of the axle plus the height of the leaf spring stack. If the leaf springs are already on top of the axle the only option is the Correct Track # LC87120 which will extend your hangers to raise the height of the trailer 1-1/4" or 2-1/4".

They are under the axle. That kit required welding the seats correct? If so that is beyond my skill level.

@TerryP technically no, but it is recommended. Here is what Dexter says in the installation instructions: Note: Properly installed and with proper U-bolt torque, the special spring pads in this kit can be used without welding them directly to the axle as might be required in a roadside axle installation. However, to minimize the possibility of future axle slippage after correct positioning, it is highly recommended that the new spring pads be tack welded in place with welds about 1/4" long on each side of the pad radius to the axle tube after installation. Tack weld pads to axle where accessible. You would need to take them to a certified welder as part of the installation process if you choose to tack weld them.

@TerryP it is specific to your hub bore diameter. Most common for what you have is going to be the 1.98" model # BB1980A-SS. However, I would measure just to be sure.
