Question:

Need help picking a hub assembly. One of the seals broke and the inside of the wheel is covered in grease. Its for a 2018 Karavan 2 place jet ski trailer. bolt pattern is 5 by 4 1/2 and it has 13 inch wheels. Thank you

Hey Paul thanks for the information but there is no database that shows me part numbers for your 2018 Karavan 2 place jet ski trailer. To determine the correct replacement idler hubs you will need to determine the bearing combination your spindle uses.

The easiest way to do this is by removing one of your current hubs and looking for the bearing numbers stamped in the face of both the inner and outer bearings as shown in the included picture of the item # L44649 bearing.

If your bearings are worn to the point that you cannot read the bearing numbers you will need to use a digital caliper like item # PTW80157 to precisely measure your spindles in the locations shown in the included diagram.

If you could get this information for me and leave it in the comment box below, I'll be happy to find you the correct replacement hub.

Thank you for getting back. The hub itself says KNOTT 17A01 6B7456 H. The outer bearing is a L44649. The inner seal says TRP 201702 GS-1719DL. The inner bearing is covered by the seal so let me know if I need to tear it apart to see the inner bearing part#. The inner bearing is bigger than the outer.

@PaulP Hey Paul thanks for that information but I do need you to pop that inner bearing out. The parts I am getting off of the KNOTT 17A01 6B7456 H you gave me aren't matching up with what you're saying. Those hubs are coming back with the same size item # L44649 bearings on both inner and outer.

@JerredH I have been having the hardest times figuring out which hub I need. I have a 2019 triton trailer: 2 jet ski trailer 2500 Gross Wgt 1 axle The numbers on the back of the hub appear to be the same as above (very rusted): 6B7456 The measurements from calipers to the best of my capability :) Seal: 1.586 ish in ID: 1.242 in Looks like it tapers down to 1.13 in before it gets to the OD OD: 0.9375 in Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
