Question:
Can you use stainless steel staples on bunks if the wood is pressure treated? If not, what should one use that will last? Im not in a salt water environment

Yes, you can use stainless steel (heavy-duty) staples to attach boat trailer bunk board carpet like CE Smith # CE11372 to pressure treated wood. You can also use hot-dipped galvanized staples. Either type is fine for use with treated lumber.
