Weight and Stability of Victory Step Manual Fold-Down 4 Steps

Question:
How heavy are the Lippert 4-step Victory Steps? Do they bounce much when fully extended? I think they would be a great step to use for a flatbed truck camper with a side door. It seems like it would be easy to hinge them at the top so you can simply fold them up against the side of the camper during travel.

Hey Terry, it's good to hear from you again!
The Victory Step Manual Fold-Down 4 Steps # LC726895 weigh in at about 41 lbs so they aren't too heavy.
When it comes to the stability, both legs have some adjustability in them, so you'll be able to customize the legs to the ground that you're parked on - so the steps will be very stable.
I agree that these can work really well for a truck bed camper! Just keep in mind that these aren't designed to be installed and left in place. You'll want to remove them during travel and store them in your truck or even in the truck bed camper.
