Can etrailer Scissor Stabilizer Jacks Be Used For Lifting The Trailer?

Question:
Can the etrailer Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle and Drill Adapter - 24 Lift - 30,000 lbs be used to level my 30 trailer? Normal scissor stabilizers factory jacks say NO! Stabilizer only. Barely touch the ground then 1/2 crank more. Not for leveling. These look way more hvy duty.

Hello Larry, thanks for reaching out. We get this question a lot but the Scissor jacks like the etrailer Scissor Stabilizer Jacks # e74RV are strictly designed for stabilizing the trailer. They attach to the underside of the trailer then drop to keep the unit from rocking. They should not be used for lifting or leveling the trailer at all. They are heavy-duty jacks but they are just not made for lifting.

Thanks. My travel trailer is 30'. I usually use leveling blocks or the rocking kind. This is often tedious. Instead of these systems, is there a leveling jack that attaches to the frame on each corner that doesn't cost $3000 that can simply ratchet up to 6" whatever side of the trailer I need? It's never both sides. That's silly. And of course not front to back. That's taken care of by the tongue jack. Surely I 'm not the only one to ask...
