Will Yakima Skybox NX 16 Y95AV Fit Factory Crossbars On 2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro?

Question:
Will the Yakima Sky Box NX 16 fit my 2024 Toyota 4 Runner TRD Pro. It has factory rails and crossbars installed. They call it a basket. Im concerned about the rear hatch contacting the box.

Hello Kevin, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 # Y95AV will indeed work with the factory crossbars on your 4Runner. This cargo box will work with most crossbar shapes, and the Toyota crossbars are standard size.
As far as opening your rear hatch, there will need to be at least 47" between the center of the front crossbar, and the line where the roof and the hatch meet. I do not have this measurement on hand for your 4Runner, but you should be able to measure this fairly easily. As long as you measure more than 47", the hatch will fully open without contacting the box.
