Should White Plug Remain Unused When Installing Furrion Chill Cube
Updated 03/05/2025 | Published 03/02/2025 >
Question:
I'm installing the Furrion Chill Cube and it states to not hook up the white plug in the instructions, is it talking about the small two wire white connector, it has a black mark on the plug? If so there is one main red and black plug that is the only one left to plug up, the blue plug is already connected.

Hey Stanley! To clear things up, you need to connect the white plug. However, this is definitely confusing. I just looked at the # FR27TD instructions and I see where it says to tuck the white connection off to the side, unused. Directly below that it shows the white 2-wire plugs connected. When we installed this we also connected it.
We actually have the Lippert rep for the Furrion Chill Cube here today so I went out and asked him about it. He said he isn't sure why it is written that way, that he always connects it, and the manual will need to be fixed. We got ahold of the engineer and that connector is for the evaporator coil so it is necessary for operation. It sounds like the intent was to say to tuck extra wire off to the side and then they moved that into the next step. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to reach out in the comments below.
