Availability Of 3-3/8" Deep Hubs For Boat Trailer

Question:
Im trying to find hubs for my boat trailer. It is an odd size where its a 4 on 4, with the hub only 3 3/8 long overall. The Flange is 5/8 thick and from the outside of the hub to the flange is 1 3/4. From the back side of the flange to the inner edge of the hub is 1. It appears that from the photos none of your hubs may work. Do you have hubs that will work? Thanks

Hello James, thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you are looking for a hub for an older trailer. A lot of older trailers used these "shorter" hubs like you are describing. Unfortunately, this type of hub is obsolete now. All of our 4 on 4 idles hubs will be about 4-1/2" deep, so they would not work for you.
At this point the next step would be to look at replacing your spindles with something more modern, or replacing your axle entirely. Otherwise you are going to have a very hard time finding parts going forward. Replacing spindles can be tricky since it requires special equipment. Changing the axle can be done, but we would need to look at what weight capacity and axle length you need.
If this is something you want to look into, just reply below and I am happy to help point you in the right direction.
