Looking For Spare Tire Carrier For Thor Geneva 22VT

Updated 10/30/2025 | Published 02/23/2025

Question:

looking for spare tire and spare tire rack for 2024 Thor Geneva 22VT . Its built on a 2023 Chevy Express cutaway dually. I have a Hollywood racks RV e-bike rack and a Stinger Can Am trailer. Is there a way to use all 3 at the same time? Would I need a front tow hitch to use all 3? Rear hitch is 8000lb with tongue wt of 500lb. Looking forward to hearing from you Monday.

Hello Bob, thanks for reaching out. There would be no way to safely pull your Can Am trailer, while hauling the bike rack and spare tire carrier on the back at the same time. The best way to go about this would be to use a front hitch for the bike rack. Then you would have the spare tire carrier # RM-195225 on the back with your trailer.

That said, there are no custom fit front hitches for the 2023 Chevy Express Cutaway. The only option would be to take a universal hitch like the Curt # C13702 to a welder and have them fabricate something to fit. This would be a completely custom job so there are no instructions I can provide for this. A front hitch is definitely the safest way to do what you are wanting to do.

Another option would be to find a way to store the spare tire on the trailer.

Another option worth mentioning is the Lippert RV Spare Tire Mount # LC159041. This mounts to the chassis underneath your RV. It will fit a 71" wide frame so you would want to check the frame width on your RV to see if it will fit.

Reply below and let me know if I can do anything else to help.

Hey Bob, did you get a chance to check whether the Lippert spare tire mount fit your RV’s frame width? Knowing how that worked out could help others trying to carry a spare along with a bike rack and trailer.
