How Much Deflection of Timbren Axle Less with 2,700 lb in Trailer

Updated 10/30/2025 | Published 02/15/2025

Question:

I am building a overland trailer that when fully loaded should be right around the 2700ish mark. Being that I am planning on using the timbren 3500 HD axle less setup how my deflection would I be seeing just sitting at that weight? I am trying to decide between the 2inch lift and the 4inch lift to provide me with the proper alignment of the trailer to my vehicles tow hitch. Thanks

Hey Matt, the total amount of deflection a Timbren Axle Less kit part # ASR2KHDS01 has is right at 2-5/8 inches. Since you'd be at 2,700 lb static you'd probably be right at around 1/3 of that sitting still. That's really hard for us to say though.

Hey Matt, how did things turn out with the Timbren 3500 HD axle-less setup on your overland trailer? Did the deflection line up close to what you expected at that 2,700‑pound load? Your results could really help others trying to choose between the 2‑inch and 4‑inch lift options.
