Question:
I too have a 2011 Prius. I want to use a hitch for towing a trailer and attaching a bike rack system to the same "receiver", if that is the name of the square section where the hitch ball slides into? Does etrailer sell the "ball" and possibly bike racks?

Hey Michael thanks for the question. We do indeed carry ball mounts and bike racks that will work with your 2011 Toyota Prius. It sounds like you already have a hitch but what I am going to need you to do is measure the square receiver you referenced. It will either be 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" or 2" x 2". This measurement will determine what size ball mount and bike rack you will need. I have listed both options below;
1-1/4" Receiver - etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball item # e47DR
2" Receiver - etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball item # e38NR
As far as a bike rack goes, we have a massive selection and I really need to know what kind of bike's you have and your receiver size so I can recommend the exact one you need. If you could add this information below in the comment box, I would be more than happy to help you.

Thanks for reply. No, I do not have a hitch. Please recommend one for easy install onto a 2011 Prius. The bike rack is for only one bike. It is a heavy Rad Power, electric bike. I'm guessing 65 lbs and 3" wide tires. I am away and do not have the bike in front of me for a few days, so don't have specific details...
