Recommended Heavy Duty Trailer Hitch for a Freightliner Chassis

Hello, We are looking for a trailer hitch for our midsized freightliner that can handle towing 8,500lbs or more. Please let me know if you need more information. Thank you, Megan

Hey Megan, so there is not going to be a custom option (one that would bolt up to the frame) but there is a universal one that you could use.

I'd suggest checking out the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch and Brackets with 3" Drop # 15901. Since this hitch is universal it'd need to be welded on, but it will fit frames up to 44" wide, has a nice 15,000 lb GTW, and has a 3" drop.
