Question:
When will this be ready? And does this need the car to be modified in anyway like the alternative option?

Hello Ayiannis,
I wish I had an exact date, but we do not know when they will be released until they are released. The good news is the one that we already have in stock the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C29PV is one of the easier hitches to install. The tech tip you are referring to: No drilling required for installation , Access holes may need to be enlarged by drilling, filing, or rotary tool is pretty common on any hitch that you are going to install. Sometime there is some welds up in the holes where it attaches to the frame that need to be cleaned out. The # C87RJ when it is released will not be an easier install, if anything it can be more difficult.
If you are needing some wiring for some very light towing or a hitch mounted accessory you will want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56367. Don't forget to grab a # 18144 for a clean looking install.
Hitches are used for so many different things now a days, what is going to be sole purpose for yours (bike rack, cargo carrier, towing, etc)?

Hi Ayiannis, how did things go with the Curt trailer hitch you were looking at? Did the install go smoothly with the access holes and wiring harness? Your update could make it easier for the next person working on the same setup.
