Question:
Hi Truck 2025 GMC HD 2500 tow capacity 18K. Most often used with 3600 lb trailer double axle with 6000 lb vehicle payload. Total weight about 10K. Can position vehicle on trailer to optimize tongue weight. Is 10k trailer and payload going to activate the torsion feature or is weight to light????

Hey Eric, the tongue weight range of the Gen-Y Torsion 2-Ball Mount # 325-GH-1124 that you referenced is 1,000 to 1,700 lbs which would be perfect for your trailer that would be 10k when loaded as your tongue weight would most likely be right at 1,200 lbs. This will cushion the ride significantly and believe it or not will improve fuel mileage as well.
