Question:
Hey I have a 2018 or 2019 Kaufman 15k trailer that uses 2 Lippert 7k axles. I need to replace the brakes on it and I want to upgrade to a never adjust system. With that being said I was wondering if these drums will fit my application? Thanks for the help.

Hello Sam, thanks for reaching out. You are on the right track here, because the # 42866UC3-EZ hub will indeed work with your Lippert 7K axle. This hub uses the same standard bearing combination as your 7K axle, those being the # 25580 (1.75" inner diameter) inner bearing and # 14125A (1.25" inner diameter) outer bearing. The 2.25" ID and 3.376" OD grease seal is also standard for 7K axles. The hub comes pre packed/greased. Lug nuts and grease cap are also included. Feel free to reach out if I can do anything else to assist.

Hey Sam, how did the new hub and drum assemblies work out on your Kaufman trailer? It’d be great to hear if the fit with your Lippert 7K axles went smoothly. Your update could make it easier for others upgrading to a never-adjust brake setup.
