Will Installing Hitch on a 2024 Toyota BZ4X Block Lift Gate Sensors?

Does installing a hitch on the Limited Bz4x block the kick sensor for the liftgate?

Hey Alex, congrats on the new 2024 Toyota BZ4X!
The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH97CR has the crossbeam sitting up high enough that it won't be in the way of any sensors. The receiver might interfere with the sensors some, but if you kick (back and forth) on either side of the receiver then the sensors will be able to pick it up.
Check out the attached photo to see some places to try kicking once the hitch is installed.

Hey Alex, how did things go with the EcoHitch Stealth hitch on your BZ4X and the liftgate sensor? Did kicking to the side of the receiver let the sensor work like normal? Your update could make it easier for others adding a hitch to the same vehicle.
