Question:

Good day, I was looking into purchasing the drawtite hitch for Equinox EV and wondered if you have photo of the hitch installed. I would like to see what it look like before purchase. Thank you,

Good morning Marc! I am sorry but I have checked with the manufacturer and scoured the internet, however I can not find a picture of the Draw-Tite item # DT66KV installed on a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV.

What I can tell you is that the hitch receiver is going to extend directly below your bottom trim. If you look at the picture below and focus on the rear square in the middle of the bumper. The 2" receiver will be directly below that.

Hi Jerred, Is there a way to tell from the mounting points and dimensions if the Draw-Tite hitch opening will be further back (towards rear of vehicle) than the Curt? Seeing pictures of the Curt installed, it's not only low, it's also far enough underneath the vehicle that an extender would need to be used for a trailer, bike rack, hitch rack etc. Which would reduce it's rated tongue and towing weights. My main hesitation with the Draw-tite is that it would have the same issue. I also haven't been able to find any photos! Thanks

@Joel No, I am sorry Joel. I do not have any way of knowing how far back either receiver sits as we have not had a chance to install them. Out of the two hitches I would go with the Draw-Tite item # DT66KV. The crosstube mounts behind the bumper for a cleaner look and all you'll see is the receiver.
