Question:
Hi there, I am in need of a new master cylinder and damper for a surge actuator on my boat trailer. The m/c casting number is 1027100. I am unsure of the exact model but believe it is a Titan brand with drum brakes. I wasnt sure if it made sense to replace components needed or entire surge actuator with 2-5/16 ball. Thanks

Hey Jeff, we actually have the exact master cylinder you are looking for with the part # T1027100.
Since you said you need a damper too the correct replacement shock is the part # T1242600. Damper is another word for shock by the way.
For the price of these two components you are creeping into cost range that might justify replacing the entire coupler BUT these are the two most important components to an actuator and removing and installing a new one can be a bit of a chore so there's that to consider.
How's the rest of the coupler? Does it seem worth salvaging?

One more question. Is there an alternate number for the shock? I can’t seem to pull that number up on the website. Thanks

Thanks Jameson. The coupler is in great shape otherwise. The trailer just sat a lot with the previous owner. I think I’ll go the repair route and get everything ordered up. Thanks again
