Question:
Considering putting the Timbren bump stops on my 2024 1500Silverado, how will they affect the ride when empty?

Hello Ken,
The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System - Rear Axle # T28MR is a great option for hauling a heavy load. If you are worried about ride quality, might not be the best option. Bump stops are great when they are needed as they will protect your vehicles suspension when needed. However, when you are not hauling a load they can cause a rough ride. If you hit a pot hole or bumps in the road it can cause a bit of a jolt when it hits the frame.
If you are looking for a little bit of a smoother ride when not in use, I would go with the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SS45FR, or the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57388.

Hi Ken, how did things turn out with the suspension setup on your Silverado? Did you end up going with the Timbrens or one of the smoother options like the SumoSprings or Air Lift system? Your update could make it easier for others deciding between these setups.
