Do 35 lb and 50 lb MORryde Horizontal TV Slide Mounts Have Same Extension

Published 12/04/2024

Question:

I am looking at the two different MOrryde Horizontal TV slide mounts and am confused about the maximum extension. The specifications for the 35 pound version indicate a maximum extended dimension of approximately 40 inches and the 50 pound version, approximately 60 inches, yet the videos seem to suggest both are limed to about 40 inches totally extended. Can you clarify? This is an important aspect. Thanks,

Hey Doug, so the two wall mounts part # MR82ZR and # MR72ZR have the same extension like what the video details. The reason the description has what looks like a lot more extension is that the larger mount is just larger so when it's extended it's overall 60 inches.

The retracted dimensions are 20 and 24 yet the extended dimensions are 40 and 60, so it cannot be solely on account of the original (retracted) size. That can maybe account for 4 inches but not 20. I think the bigger one might have a third leg, but I am guessing.

@Doug The overall dimensions do seem a bit weird but I can assure you that they both slide 20-1/2 inches like you can see in the review videos for both. If they could have slid further we would have shown that.
