Does Upgrading Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer to 78 inch Bars Require Wiring Modification

Hello. I have Yakima Rack and Roll 66 trailer and would like to purchase 78 Crossmember Kit for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer. Will the electrical connections of 78 kit fit to older models of 66 trailer? Thanks, Vadim

Hey Vadim, you can upgrade your Rack and Roll trailer to the longer bars with the part # Y08111 like you are wanting to without having to worry about changing the wiring at all. The current wiring of your trailer would work fine.
