Thinking of purchasing for my husband who is a carpenter. Not sure the 300lbs would suffice. He does have lots of tools. Any suggestions or know anyone who has used this trolley tray for mostly tools. He also has a 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 Power Wagon so would need to know what truck bed size. Thanks

Hi Andrea,
The 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon comes with a 6-1/2' bed. Speaking from experience when it comes to hauling tools around the 300lb capacity of the Truck Trolley Truck Bed Slide Out Tray # TR87VR would likely not be enough to handle the tools and material he would use on a daily basis. I'm assuming this is for a gift so you probably can't really ask without giving away the surprise. If you're not as knowledgeable on what you husband is typically hauling around I would see if one of his buddies or maybe another family member would have a better idea or could take a look and kind of gauge the weight so we have something to go off of.
BedSlide offers a couple of higher capacity options with part # BE53ER (1,000lbs) and # BE25ER (1,500lbs) that would better suited to his needs, but they're obviously quite a bit pricier.

Hey Andrea, did you end up going with one of the higher-capacity BedSlide trays for your husband’s Ram 2500? It’d be great to hear if the weight capacity worked out for his tools. Your update could make it easier for others shopping for a similar setup.
