Will Furrion Chill Cube AC Unit Work with Coleman Furnace

Question:

hi, i have a Coleman Mach 15k ducted unit. i already know this unit will replace my Coleman, but my question is will the new thermostat operate my suburban furnace also?

Hey Robert,

The Furrion Chill Cube RV AC Kit # FR49TD unfortunately won't be able to operate your furnace using the thermostat.

An alternative solution would be to use the Dometic Penguin II High Capacity RV Air Conditioner # DMC53ZR which does have a way to connect your furnace. Please note that this isn't designed specifically as a replacement for a Coleman AC so everything will need to be hardwired in by a technician.

hey Jon, I spoke with a guy in the tech dept. at Lippert and he told me that this set up is a replacement for the Coleman Mach 15k and that the thermostat will work om my suburban furnace. I ordered this package and will see once I install it thanks Robert

@RobertS hey what package did you get? i just replaced my Coleman Mach ac with the Furrion chill and now my thermostat will not switch over to zone 1 to run the furnace.

@BennyS I haven’t received my unit yet, still waiting on shipping confirmation. From what i understand is you might need to reuse the control box from your Coleman unit
