I just installed a hitch trailer with the opening 2. Then it doesnt fit to my bike rack 1 1/4. My question: 1. is this the right choice? 2. is the lenghts right too?

You have a couple options, you could use the Hitch Adapter 2" to 1-1/4" # 80300 that you referenced, but this style of adapter will reduce the capacity of your hitch by 50 percent and will push your bike rack out further from the rear of your vehicle.
Another option is an adapter like Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" # HT02. This will fit inside the hitch and will allow you to carry your rack. This would be the route I would go.
