Will EcoHitch or Curt Hitch Have Better Clearance for 2012 Subaru Outback

Question:

Best high clearance hitch for a 2012 Outback? I saw the Curt C13410 recommended, but does that offer better clearance than the Torklift EcoHitch Hidden Receiver TORK-X7162?

The information I have says the # 306-X7162 has a ground clearance measurement of 10-1/2". The Curt # C13410 has approximately 12" to 12-1/2" of clearance when measured to the bottom of the receiver. I'm not 100% sure how accurate the EcoHitch information is since we haven't measured it ourselves.

Based on the installation and where the receiver position any difference in ground clearance appears to be negligible. The main difference between these two hitches is going to be the price. You could also get the etrailer # e42TR which is identical to the Curt but has a matte black finish instead of the glossy finish.
