How to Add Electric Brakes to a Boat Trailer w/ 205/65/10 Wheels

Question:
Hello, I have a boat trailer with small wheels - 205/65/10. I would like to install electrical brakes. I have a brackett with 4 wholes on the axle - so I should be able to install electric brakes. What parts do I need? Thank you! R Viktor

Hey Viktor thanks for the information! I am going to need some more though. In order to add electric brakes you will need to swap out your current hubs with ones capable of holding a brake assembly like item # AKEBRK-2 you were looking at.
In order to determine what brake hub you need you're going to have to remove one of your idler hubs and look at the part numbers stamped into the sides of the bearings. This will tell me what size spindle you have. I'll also need to know what lug pattern your small 205/65/10 wheels have so I don't recommend a hub that would cause you to replace them. If you could gather this information for me and either email me directly or comment below I would be happy to find you the correct hubs and other parts you need.
