Recommended Replacement Power Converter Charger For A 2000 Fleetwood Bounder

Question:

I have a 2000 Fleetwood bounder with a inteli power 9155. What is the best replacement since the one I have is now 24 years old.

Hey Steven,

You were already looking at the best replacement for your PD9155 power converter with the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger - 12V - 60A # PD79RR. That being said, you will likely need to increase the wire gauge running to the battery up to 4 gauge to play it safe it avoid any issues since the amperage is increasing and 55 amps is right on the line between gauges. You can pick up wire from your local hardware store and can typically get it by the foot to avoid purchasing more than you actual need to keep the cost down.
