Replacement Bearings Needed For A 1999 Bi-Mart/Harbor Freight Trailer

Updated 11/01/2024 | Published 10/20/2024

Question:

I have a bi-mart / harbor freight trailer from 1999. I am looking for bearings. The spindle is 1.938 or close to it. The part number on the old one reads Bulgaria 30205. The other number on the bearing is 13 M 5. Can you point me to a replacement? Thanks

Hey Samuel,

Timken offers a replacement for the 30205, but I don't have any dimensions besides what Timken has listed to confirm if it's the correct replacement and I couldn't find anything at all on the 13 M 5 bearing so we're going to need to take some measurements with a caliper # PTW80157.

If you measure points B, C, and D from the diagram below we'll have our inner diameters and if you measure the bore hole of the hub we'll have the outer diameters for each bearing and the seal. If you can send me those measurements I'd be happy to search for a compatible replacement.

Kevin My bearings are actually in good shape. I'd like to get the appropriate bearing buddy and new grease seals. These are the measurements I took: B=1.23 in C and D are the same = 0.98 in (both bearings have the same part number) Grease cap ID = 2.03 in Grease seal ID = 2.03 in I can provide pics if helpful.

@SamuelB These dimensions are all just slightly off from what we currently offer. Did you round any of these numbers? Could you remeasure and give me the number to the thousandth (i.e. 1.000")? If these are the true dimensions then the spindle is uncommon and the only thing we could offer would be to replace the axle with one with a more common spindle in order to get you replacement parts.
