Question:

Hey guys, I am looking for replacement hubs for my 2005 Four Winns Trailer. The trailer model number is DO190VT. Do you know if I need the same part number AKIHUB-655-6-EZ-K you have recommended for a 2004 model trailer? Cheers

Hey Paul,

There unfortunately isn't a guide to tell us what hubs your trailer needs but we can try to identify them and confirm the correct replacement. To start I would see if the hub has a part number stamped into it. If not then you can pull off the hub and either check the bearings and grease seal for part number still stamped into it or you can measure the spindle with a caliper # PTW80157 at points B, C, and D from the diagram below for the inner diameters. For the outer diameters you can measure the bore hole of the hub. We'll also need to know the capacity of your axle and the wheel bolt pattern to ensure you're getting something that will still match up to your wheels.

If your axle tag is still legible and you can take a picture of it I can also try looking up the correct fit for the axle that way as well.

@Paul I did get the photos. It looks like you have an old Tie Down Engineering idler hub 11033. If the info I have is correct the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3.5K Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 # AKIHUB-545-35-EZ-K would be the correct replacement. You can double check that the bearings and seals match with your current ones to confirm: Inner bearing # L68149 (1.378" inner diameter) Outer bearing # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) Grease seal # RG06-050 Inner diameter: 1.719" Outer diameter: 2.565"
