Question:
Hello. I have a Ram 3500 with an 18K Patriot BW fifth wheel set up towing a 10K fifth wheel. Can I use the longer clevis pin C45805. I find the stock pins are a total pain to put in and a longer pin would help. I also think having the clip go through the pin is a safer set up. I havent been able to locate any info regarding using these pins to hold the Fifth wheel in place and dont see any ratings. Probably overthinking it. Thanks. Don

No, you wouldn't want to do that Don. The Curt Clevis Pin with Handle and Clip item # C45805 is not designed for that purpose. You would want to stick with the stock pins that come with the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # BWRVK3255 or item # BWRVK3270 if you have the slider.
