Hey Korey,
That's a totally normal installation for the RV Holding Tank Heater # 372HTH-A. My only word of advice would be to run a dedicated outlet for it to plug into with a switch somewhere in-line that's easy to access so you can cut power to the heater as needed since this is going to be hidden in your trailer's underbelly. Same thing if you want to run this on DC voltage instead of AC voltage. DC will likely be the easier route and I'd be willing to bet you have open fuse ports in your DC distribution panel but likely wouldn't have an open spot for another circuit breaker if you wired it to the AC distribution panel.
If you wire it to DC you'll want an on/off switch # PK34500 rated for at least 10 amps, 14 gauge wire # DW07550-1 to run your power and ground wires, and some ring terminals to connect to the switch # DW05702-1.

Hey Korey, how did the wiring setup for your RV holding tank heater turn out? Did running it on DC power with the toggle switch work like you wanted? Your update could make it easier for others doing a similar install.
