Will K-Source Snap & Zap Towing Mirrors Scratch Factory Mirrors on 2023 GMC Sierra 1500

Question:
Reading the QandA’s I know these will fit my 2023 gmc Denali and I will not lose any features. I have chrome mirrors I am OCD so I am worried about scratching my factory mirrors. Has any one came up with a way to prevent that, and is there detailed instructions on the steps to install them? I don’t want to just dive in and scratch every thing up and then go oh well that is how they go on. I love Etrailer you guys have always had exactly what I need. Thanks!

Hey Mike,
Appreciate the kind words, and I totally understand your concern regarding scratching the factory mirrors on your 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 with the K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors # KS80930.
While there isn't a method to prevent that, the # KS80930 have padding at the contact points to prevent damage. And while K-Source doesn't have detailed instructions on how to install them, you'll just clip on the top part first then the bottom. I 100% understand the concern, but just take a bit of time and slowly clip them on and your Sierra's mirrors will come away unscathed.

Hey Mike, how did things go with the K-Source Snap & Zap mirrors on your Sierra? Did the padding keep your chrome mirrors free from scratches? Your update could make it easier for others worried about the same thing.
