Question:

Hi, we have a 2003 base model Ford ranger, manual transmission and want to flat tow behind our class C RV. Wed like to use the Roadmaster tracker RM020. With Demco baseplate 9518060 and adapter DM9523036. Are these components correct?

Hey Lesli, yes everything you mentioned would work great together. The Roadmaster Tow Bar part # RM-020 is compatible with the Demco Base plate # DM9518060 when using the adapter part # DM9523036.

@JamesonC The Demco baseplate and adapter would not work on my base model Ranger. I believe it was for a 4 wheel drive Ranger. E trailer was fantastic about the return process, y'all had my new base plate shipped before I got the wrong one back to UPS. The correct baseplate was a little more involved to install. But we love the whole set up! Last trip hubby had to leave unexpectedly. Using a bungee cord I managed (quite easily) to hook up by myself!
