How Much Height Above Crossbar Does Thule Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box Add

The mounting points for the Thule Pulse Alpine look a bit recessed into the box itself. I see the external height of the box is 12.5 inch but how many inches does this truly add above the crossbars?
