Do you need to install a charge controller in addition to the Solar Port Inlet for Furrion Solar Panel Battery Charger - 12-14V DC - Black?

Hi Clay,
The Furrion Solar Port Inlet # FSPINS-BS by itself is not something that needs a charge controller, though often the solar panels that plug into it have their own controller, like the Go Power Portable Solar Panel with Digital Solar Controller # 34282729.
