Does Hitch Ball Change Measurement Height of B&W Tow & Stow For 2-1/2" Hitch

I assume these measurements will change by the height of the ball when one of the balls is in the downward position with regards to the ground clearance. So the ground clearance could effectively be 1.5 to 2” less, correct? If that is the case and the ground clearance is less than 11” should you opt for the 5” drop hitch?

Hey Todd,
Yep, you're correct, if one of the balls is in the downward position the measurement would be less for the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount - 2.5" Hitch - 7" Drop/7.5" Rise # BWTS20049C.
So if that doesn't allow you the 11" clearance to the ground you could go to the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount - 2-1/2" Hitch - 4-1/2" Drop/Rise # BWTS20048B.
Then for the hitch lock for either use part # 34061072-D.
