What Max temperature Setting Should I Use For TPMS System Monitoring LRH Tires?

I have a 2024 Brinkley Fifth Wheel with the Cooper Works series 16 ply H rated tires. Im setting up the TPM system and its asking for a max temp for the alarm setting. What should that be set at?

Hello Bert, thanks for reaching out. For your TPMS 158 degrees Fahrenheit is a good point to set the alarm at. Just keep in mind that in much hotter climates you may see the tires go hotter than this. So if you plan on towing thru the desert climate you may want to up the alarm to 165-167 degrees max. In normal or colder climates 158 will be a good setting. If it's cold enough, they really should not be close to 158. Anything over 190-195 degrees is considered the "danger zone" and if tires ever get this hot you should take immediate action.
