Most Economical Trailer Hitch For 2021 Tesla Model Y

I need suggestions on a trailer hitch and wiring harness for a 2021 Tesla Model Y. 3500 max. tow weight, 165lb. T.W. from manufacture. As I am not familier with hitches or wiring please suggest best and most economical for my vehicle. Thanks

Hi Robert,
For your 2021 Tesla Model Y, the most economical hitch is either the Curt or Draw-Tite (prices can fluctuate which is why it may be either)
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C67RV
- Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT58MR
I think you can certainly make the argument that these are also both the best due to Curt and Draw-Tite's longstanding reputation for making quality hitches. They have the same 3,500 lb capacity and If it were me, I would honestly just go with the least expensive one as they'll both serve your Model Y perfectly.
Wiring doesn't give you that type of choice though, as what you'll need is the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 119250KIT.
Thankfully, the manufacturer, Tekonsha, is our favorite due to how reliable their wiring harnesses are, so you're getting a very good product.
