What is the weight of the cover installed on a RAM 2500 64inch bed? Need to know the impact to my payload capacity of the truck. Thanks,

Hey Marc,

The Pace Edwards JackRabbit Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-M-JRD7833 weighs approximately 64lbs so it shouldn't make a huge impact on the payload capacity, but the canister will eat into some of your useable bed space. The canister is 9-1/4" tall x 9-3/4" deep.

Thanks for the info. Another question: this cover has incremental lockable positions approximately every 12”. What is the actual measurement from the bulk head to the first, partially closed position? Clarification- when starting to close the cover, from the fully opened position, how far from the head board of the bed is the edge of the cover?

@MarcM The 12" mark starts from the cab side of the rails with the center of the slot landing right at 12". From the canister would be about 3". After that initial slot there's a slot every 12"
