Replacement Awning Options For A 2021 Forest River Surveyor Legend 19RBLE

Updated 09/06/2024 | Published 09/01/2024

Question:

Hello. I foolishly left my RV awning out and a storm rolled through. it broke enough pieces that i think i need to replace the entire awning kit. I have a 2021 Forest River Surveyor Legend 19RBLE. I measured the roller piece and it measures just over 20 feet. The current awning hardware is Solara. Can you guide me to the right replacement kit? Thank you. William

Hi William,

Sorry to hear about your awning, but happy to help you find a replacement. Starting off you'll want to measure from the center of one arm to the center of the other arm because just going off of the roller tube will give you the wrong measurement. For some reason manufacturers set this as the standard instead of just going off of the length of the roller tube.

I still would measure but with your roller tube being just over 20' I'm going to assume you have a 21' awning. If that's the case then we offer the following color options:

White Fade # LCV000335015-362241
Burgundy Fade # LC65FR
Blue Fade # LC75FR

At 21' the roller tube usually is bowing in the middle, if you notice yours is as well then I recommend also picking up the Solera Awning Cradle Support - Black # LC289374 - White # LC289373. This cradle will help support the roller tube when retracted so that it can't bow down or wag while pulling the trailer. I've attached a short video below where I'll show you how it works.
