Wheel and Tire Recommendation for Jayco Qwest 10 for Highway Travel

Updated 01/27/2026 | Published 08/26/2024

Question:

I currently have a Jayco Qwest 10, that has 5.3x12, 4 on 4, bias, Load C tires. I was told that because I trailer the camper a bit of a distance about 400 miles to the campground and at least once a month, I should consider upgrading to radials? Would these fit the bill?

Hey Ryan, yes the Taskmaster part # TA69QR would be exactly what you are looking for. Its the same size and bolt pattern as what you need but is a radial like you are wanting and has a higher speed rating at 81 MPH so it would work great for your longer roadtrips.

Hey Ryan, how did the Taskmaster radial tires work out on your Jayco Qwest 10 during those longer trips? It’d be great to hear if the ride and handling improved with the switch from bias tires. Your update could make it easier for others planning a similar upgrade.
