Is There a Way to Turn Off Proximity Sensor of Greystone Fireplace

Can the 6inch proximity switch be removed or turned off? I have a great dane and she will trigger it constantly if not.

Hello Rod,

There is not a way to turn off the proximity sensor of the Greystone 31" Electric RV Fireplace with Crystals and Mirrored Glass # LC46AF.

This is a standard on all of these fireplaces so there isn't another option I can offer that doesn't have it.
