Replacement Crank Grommet Hole Plug For Solera RV Awnings

Question:

I need 2 rubber replacement access plugs that go into the top right hand corner of the front covers for our Solera Power RV Awnings that are on our 2022 Rockwood 8288sb 5th wheel.I believe the cover part number is LC643922, but I can’t find the odd shaped rubber plug part number. Both plugs on our awnings have deteriorated and fell out leaving the access to the crank nut exposed. I just need the 2 odd shaped rubber plugs, thanks, Bill

Hey William,

The replacement manual override grommets for your Solera RV awning can be found with either part # LC95ED if you have a powered awning or part # LC299993 if you have a manual crank awning.

Sorry, I should have looked at the picture of part #LC95ED first, its round and the hole in the cover is oblong shape. Will it assume the shape of this hole ?. It also does not look like the plug I removed, our unit is powered, but the plug I took out looks more like the one for the manual unit. I can send you a few pictures of the plug I removed and the cover if you like? Thanks William

@William The # LC95ED will fit both the standard # LC289560 and regal-style # LC643922 Solera powered RV awning head covers even though the crank access hole is oblong. I went out to our warehouse and tested them both myself to confirm. The inner portion of the grommet has a section removed so that the grommet can fit the oblong hole. I've attached pictures above so you can see them installed.
