These custom fit tie-downs give you the safest and most comfortable ride when hauling a camper. They mount to the frame of your pickup - no drilling required! With the arms removed, the brackets can barely be seen. Made of rustproof aluminum.

If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here from etrailer, and I'm with Dan. And Dan recently had his new truck in. He got airbags installed. And you also have an in-bed camper, probably why you have the airbags. Yes.
And so you've towed with an in-bed camper before with a previous truck, correct Yep. I have a 1996 GMC diesel. And I've carried this all over the place, up through the Smoky Mountains, and had a really good time with it. Had a blast. I got a 2000 model Lance Camper, and it's put on a 2025 Chevy 3,500.
I needed to upgrade from a 2,500 to a 3,500. So this thing will carry around. So on your previous Dually that you had, you didn't have the TorkLift tie downs I did not. I had them mounted onto the bumper to tie down to, and also at the beginning of the bed. Now with this, it's all custom fit.
And you went with the aluminum versions, right Yes, I went with the aluminum, because the aluminum, they're pretty sturdy, and I didn't want the metal to rust if I ever take this thing out in the snow and salt and everything. Are there advantages to the TorkLift over kind of the old style that you had it hooked up When I take the TorkLifts out, I can put 'em away and you won't even see that they're attached to the truck. I like to tuck things farther away so I don't bang my leg. Yeah, and you can kind of go back, you can pull those out, and it goes back to that OEM clean look. You have no idea they're even there until you're ready to hook up.
Right. So anything that you would recommend for anyone that has an in bed camper Any, you know, tips, tricks, for in-bed camper driving that you have, you know, over your years I got the tie downs here. I did install these, put 'em in there. And I extended the rods by using all thread rods. Make sure you get the good all thread rods, 'cause some of 'em we inchesre kinda loose when you put 'em in there. And then, yeah. I mean, they are really, really handy. My '96, when I'm driving down the road, it would sway back and forth. And with the Silverado 3,500, I got the airbags in there and the wiring all set up. And it just doesn't move or nothing. It just runs right on down the road. And with the diesel 10 speed transmission, shoot, I just, it just goes. Brad Yeah. Dan It's like it's not even back there. Yeah, and with tying these down, you know, a lot of times people wonder how does it stay in place. And especially, you know, if you're going to kind of mountainous areas or whatever and you're getting ups and downs or hitting bumps, it does have that potential to move. But that's why you have turn buckles. You crank those down, it's gonna keep it all in place. But the big thing is, you know, having a good attachment point. So did you ever have clearance issues with your other one when you hooked it up As far as where the turn buckle's attached, did you have any issues making contact The only issue I would have is if I hooked it on here wrong. Like if I came from the other direction, or this way, I'd have to try to swing it over. Better to unhook the bottom before you unhook the top. Yeah. If you haven't looked at the TorkLift mounting points, these are great. They are custom fit to your vehicle. So it's crucial that you use our fit guide to get the proper trim and model of your truck. Because they're, you know, these aren't gonna work on a Ford. You'd have to get the Ford-specific. But that's what makes these great.
