Question:
Hello, I have a dual axle pontoon boat trailer that I would like to replace the hubs on each wheel. The numbers on the hub are as follows: 7MW 1020 976. I am not sure if this is a Dexter, as I couldn’t find a make other than the numbers. Do you have a current marine hub that is an equivalent? Thanks so much for your time, Connor

Hi Connor,
Those part numbers unfortunately don't come back to anything, but we can still find a compatible fit by checking the bearings. To do this you'll have to remove one hub and take measurements of points B, C, and D on the diagram below with a claiper # PTW80157. Those measurements will be the inner diameter of the bearings and grease seal. For the outer diameter you can measure the bore hole of the hub. Once we have all these dimensions I can look up the bearings and seals that match and find a compatible hub.
Are your current hubs just idlers or do your have brake assemblies on the trailer too?

Hi Kevin, My B measurement is 1.71, C is 1.36, and D 1.05. The outside bearing is L44649. The inner bearing is L68149. The inner seal number was 4704CO. I should be able to find an equivalent marine hub, but wanted to follow up in case. Thanks!
