Question:
I have a 2004 F350 Super duty crew cab. I need to replace my brake controller due to the blue brake wire always having power on it. I will be towing a 2 position horse trailer. what would the best choice be for a new unit? is it proportional or delayed braking? thanks John

Hey John, for your 2004 Ford F-350 I recommend checking out the Curt TriFlex NEXT Trailer Brake Controller w/ Custom Harness # C46SV for a proportional brake controller, or the Curt Venturer NEXT Trailer Brake Controller w/ Custom Harness # C53MV for a time delayed controller.
Both of these controllers include the mounting bracket and hardware, have an LED display for easy reading, and will work with up to 3 axles.

Hey John, how did things go with the new brake controller for your F-350 and horse trailer? Did the proportional or time-delayed option end up working better for your setup? Your feedback could really help others choosing between the two styles.
