Hey Ben! The Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers # C51322 will fit your 2004 F-250. However, this is designed to fit Curt brake controllers. You will also need the Curt Wiring Adapter for Tekonsha Brake Controller # C68VV to complete the setup.

What will you be towing with your F-250?

A 16' twin axle flatbed trailer with a ford 8N tractor. Trailer weight is 1900lb and tractor is 2400lb.

@BenJ that’s a solid load, definitely worth having the controller set up. Those adapters will give you a simple plug-and-play install under the dash, just dial in the gain once it’s installed.

@RobinH My trailer brake controller is a Tekonsha Primus IQ Proportional brake controller. If the adapters you recommended are correct, is this the best brake controller for my application? Im in Western WA, so hills are abundant.

@Ben it isn't the absolute best on the market but it is reliable and will work well. If you had a time-delayed controller I would say replace it but the Primus IQ is proportional so you're set. The adapters will work with that brake controller.
