Question:
Hello Im looking at replacing the suspension under my trailer. Its 11 years old and due. As close as I can get the measurements, the APT5 kit looks correct, though the chassis brackets on mine are 2.5 front/rear and 4.25 center. As far as springs, is there any difference between the E57SR and E54SR aside from leaf count and 500lbs capacity ? Thank you

Hey Michael! Based on your measurements your trailer's going to sit just a bit taller if you use the Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit item # APT5 but it's not going to be a big deal.
Yes, there is! Aside from the 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring item # e57SR being being an 1/8" shorter than item # E54SR, it is also rated for 4,000 lbs instead of item # E54SR 3,500 lbs capacity.

Hey Michael, how did things go with the APT5 hanger kit and the 3-leaf springs on your trailer? Did the ride height change as expected? Your update could make it easier for others planning a similar suspension refresh.
