Can The MORryde Quick Connect RV Steps # MR85HR Mount Horizontally And Vertically

Question:

Is this able to mount on both horizontal and vertical surfaces? Jumping Jack Trailers use this item and they show it mounting on a horizontal surface. Pictures here, seem to only show it mounting vertically.

The MORryde Quick Connect RV Steps # MR85HR is only able to mount with the bracket in a vertical position so that the clamp can grip the post on the bracket. The step you have pictured is an OEM option that's custom made for that specific trailer brand. Keystone custom order's their steps too and it tends to be an issue later on when replacements are needed. This mounting style unfortunately isn't for sale aftermarket like the # MR85HR is. That being said, you can still reach out to MORryde to get one ordered with the correct mounting style and height for your trailer, but you'll likely pay quite a bit more.
